Intro
Every year in September, the Reeperbahn Festival offers several hundred programme points around the Reeperbahn in Hamburg – in only four days. It is one of the most important meeting places for the music industry worldwide. This year, a new audiovisual music format celebrates its premiere: REEPERBAHN FESTIVAL COLLIDE. For this, Karl Anders was not only requested to expand the brand’s existing corporate design, but was also able to develop a powerful naming in cooperation with the RBF team.

Idea
At COLLIDE, musicians and visual artists sync their performances in a unique way. An oversized, curve-shaped LED screen serves as an interactive stage to ensure that maximum impact is pre-programmed. The symbiotic clash of artistic disciplines creates an incomparable power and an immersive experience. It’s precisely this unique momentum that had to be conveyed with the naming of “COLLIDE”.

Result
Europe’s biggest club festival will now also become a holistic experience during the year: from now on, brilliant gigs will be launched in new monthly episodes on the festival’s new YouTube channel, bringing together moods, art movements and people on and in front of an oversized virtual stage. Each performance is truly unique.
